  Michelle Grogan has been a born-again Christian for over forty-five years and has had many experiences of Christ working in her life that she incorporates into her characters' lives. She spent those years learning about and studying the Bible under the ministry started by Jesus, carried on by Apostle Paul, and continued by Watchman Nee.

  As a young woman, she worked as a cowgirl on a family-run ranch in northern California. In addition to her ranching experience, she has owned and/or worked with horses for more than forty years.

  She is currently living in Oregon with her husband. She has three children - all living in Oregon - and one grandchild.
